The Diocese of the Infant Jesus under the North American Old Roman Catholic Church Utrecht Succession, Archdiocese of California, gathered the youth from three mission communities—San Jose Manggagawa, St. Luke, and Sagrada Familia—for a three-day, two-night youth camp. A total of 51 participants joined the event, held at The Place Retreat Resort, Brgy. Olympog, General Santos City, under the theme “Rooted in Faith.”
The camp featured a variety of activities centered on leadership formation, talent development, and spiritual enrichment. It culminated with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist presided over by Most Reverend Onesimo Tabaco, DD, MCIJ, together with Msgr. Jojo Ngitngit, Fr. Ed Escleto, Fr. Richard Nombre, Fr. Edward Loberiano, and Fr. Rence Galbo. Parents and community leaders were also present at the closing program, which concluded with a shared fellowship meal.
The primary aim of the camp was to provide the youth with meaningful opportunities to strengthen their relationship with God, deepen their faith, and build fellowship with one another. Various inputs and activities were facilitated by Bro. Reven Algarme, Fr. Edward Loberiano, and Fr. Rence Galbo.
This gathering marks the beginning of more youth-centered activities in the future. Sincere gratitude is extended to the sponsors, parents, and church leaders whose support greatly contributed to the success of this memorable event.
